Accessibility

We treat accessibility as a design requirement, on the same footing as security. This page describes what we've implemented and where things stand.

Current status

This site was designed to target RGAA 4.1 level AA, the French accessibility standard aligned with WCAG 2.1. It hasn't yet been through a third-party accessibility audit. An audit is planned after launch; this page will be updated with its results, including any non-conformities found.

What we've implemented

  • Contrast checked by calculation across every color in the interface, in both light and dark themes.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Semantic structure: hierarchical headings, landmarks, a skip link to the main content.
  • Respects the system's reduced-motion preference.
  • Text alternatives for diagrams, whose labels are real text rather than paths.
  • Automated accessibility checks run on every change to the site.

Known limits

Automated checks only cover part of the RGAA criteria. Until the audit has taken place, we can't claim the site is fully conformant.
